VIDEO SUBMISSION TIPS

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

• Panels used in videos must contain at least one visible AdvanTech logo.
• The use of additional AdvanTech logos as embedded graphics (available below) are encouraged but not required.

• AdvanTech flooring logo – Full color for use on dark background
• AdvanTech flooring logo – Full color for use on light background

VIDEO SHOOTING TIPS

1. Shoot in the best light possible
2. Hold camera as still as possible
3. Use a tripod when shooting (whenever practical)
4. Try not to shoot in front of distracting backgrounds as they take attention away from what you are trying to present.
5. Shoot from different angles
6. Include lots of wide angle shots
7. Limit zooming, panning and use of special effects
8. Don’t walk with the camcorder
9. Let the tape run for about 20 seconds at the beginning of a tape and leave a little tape at the end as well.
10. Get as close as you can to your subjects and shoot close-ups whenever possible.
11. Don’t have the television or radio playing in the background, as it really distracts from any patter that you are presenting. If possible unplug the phone or at least turn off the ringer while taping.
12. Always record at the highest quality possible. If you have the ability to adjust the speed, set it to the shortest recording time to get the highest quality recording.
