Huber Engineered Woods and Alpha Lumber Sponsor New Technology Product Event in Fultondale
ZIP System® Roof and Wall Sheathing and AdvanTech® Flooring Applications Demonstrated At Event
FULTONDALE, Ala. (Nov. 10, 2008) - Huber Engineered Woods LLC, leading manufacturer of innovative building solutions, and Alpha Lumber will exhibit AdvanTech flooring and ZIP System roof and wall sheathing at the product technology event held at the Mitchell Brothers Construction site, 200 Stoney Brook Trace, on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12, 2008. The product event will bring together builders, architects, and realtors to not only learn about the latest building products and techniques from Huber Engineered Woods but to see them in action. Huber representatives Brent Flotkoetter, ZIP System product manager; Jamon Hardwick, regional sales manager; Mike Pyle, product application engineer; and Charlie Robinson, AdvanTech general manager, will conduct the ZIP System and AdvanTech product demonstrations.
Experience the following demonstrations on Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.:
- "Water Resistance" with AdvanTech flooring
- “Skid Resistance” with ZIP System roof
- “Flashing Windows and Doors” with ZIP system wall

ZIP System structural roof and wall panels have built-in protective moisture/water barriers and specially designed seam-sealing ZIP System tape that eliminate housewrap and felt. The ZIP System roof panels provide the code-recognized combination structural roof panel and underlayment all-in-one on which shingles and other approved roof coverings can be directly applied.
